Daniel M. Lechleiter joins RGI Board of Directors


Rogers Group Inc. Board of Directors is proud to announce the recent election of Daniel M. Lechleiter to their board.  Lechleiter is a Partner in the Indianapolis office of the law firm of Faegre Baker Daniels LLP.  There Dan focuses his practice on patent litigation and strategic counseling related to avoiding or resolving patent and other disputes.  RGI Chairman, Ben L. Rechter said “Dan’s experience in mechanical engineering combined with his on-going participation with cutting edge patent litigation in an array of industries adds great depth to the Rogers Group Board.  We are looking forward to the contributions Dan will provide to Rogers Group.”


Lechleiter currently serves on The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis board of trustees and as president and chairman of the board of directors of The Penrod Society Ltd.  Previously he has served on the boards of Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory High School, Indiana Historical Society, Hoosier Salon Patrons Association Inc., and Boy Scouts of America, Crossroads of America Council.  As part of the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee, he served as Restaurant Super Service Committee Co-Chair.


Lechleiter has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, with a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from The John Marshall Law School.  He has bar and court admissions in the State of Indiana, U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.


Lechleiter is married to the great-great-granddaughter of the founder of Rogers Group, Ralph Rogers.  He resides in Indianapolis with his family.
